Boulcott Village Apartments

Boulcott Village Properties commissioned Impact to manage the design and construction of a new serviced apartment building in the Wellington CBD

This stylish Wellington development project included a ‘new build construction’ of 30 two- and three-storey townhouses, 24 apartments in a tower block, a two-storey car park and extensive site works. The resulting 54 serviced apartments required a cost-effective and deadline-driven solution.

After a thorough assessment of the project, Impact identified money-saving opportunities throughout the construction process. Impact also sourced products such as floor tiles and furniture from lower-cost suppliers in China and Europe, and encouraged its client to supply raw material directly, rather than through an intermediary.

Located off a very busy Boulcott Street, the steep site presented logistical challenges and required consideration of the neighbours.

Impact’s role included all aspects of project management – from consultant team establishment, design management, contractor procurement and Engineer to the Contract, to the handover of the keys of a fully furnished serviced apartment block.
