Alex is also a 40-year veteran of the civil engineering and project management professions. He thrives on managing complex and challenging projects. He is highly skilled in all aspects of project management and his strength is applying those skills to find creative solutions to complex problems. Our clients have benefited many times when these solutions have resulted in cost and time savings for their projects. Alex readily shares his knowledge through risk-management workshops. He is known around the office for his extraordinary ability to recite facts and figures on every subject you can imagine.

Barry has been with Impact since 2003, bringing with him years of experience in construction and project management in New Zealand and the UK. He’s worked on a variety of projects spanning sectors such as education, banking, retail, infrastructure and residential housing. Most recently he’s been working with Barnardos as they plan to relocate, upgrade and refurbish their nationwide property portfolio.

Senior Project Manager
A relative newcomer to the Impact team, Richard has 25 years’ experience in the New Zealand and UK construction industries, in roles including quantity surveying and contract management on projects such as seismic upgrades, building fit-outs and health, correctional and commercial developments. In his role with Impact Richard has been applying his skills working alongside key clients such as CentrePort following the November 2016 earthquake and more recently the Department of Corrections.

Offering a combination of creative flair and practical, detail-focused project management skills, Matt has delivered projects for over 30 years. These include sixteen complex projects around the world with NZTE, in locations such as Dubai, Tokyo, Sao Paulo and Milan. Closer to home Matt has led projects for The Co-operative Bank, Trade Me, CentrePort and intellectual property firm Baldwins.

Angie brings to Impact attributes which include discipline, focus and a determination to succeed. She’s also a great advocate of careful planning and clear communication, having experienced what it’s like to be a client in her role as a project manager for Z Energy before joining Impact. Today, she’s applying all her knowledge and experience to projects ranging from fit-outs to new builds and refurbishments, including the government's warm and dry initiative for state housing.

New to Impact and the building construction industry, Chelsea recently made the switch from Infrastructure. Her role as project manager saw her implementing technological upgrades to various roading projects including working with the Memorial Park Alliance. Chelsea brings experience working as a contractor, managing subcontractors and logistics to Impact and is already a valuable part of the team.

As a Project Engineer in Christchurch, Michael gained broad experience within the structural steel and general engineering industry. Whether strengthening existing buildings or building new, he understands the need for detailed design and planning to achieve a successful outcome. His practical, mechanical background and hands-on attitude makes Michael an adept problem solver across building projects.

Hannah joined Impact in early 2018 after graduating from Victoria University of Wellington with a Bachelor of Building Science, majoring in Project Management and Sustainable Engineering Systems. Hannah’s knowledge of up-to-date management theories and ability to learn on the job already sees her deployed on client projects with one of our most valued clients.

Accountant
As Impact’s numbers specialist, Kelly applies 10 years of multidisciplinary accountancy experience to identifying and finding ways to manage project cost and cashflows. Kelly enjoys being involved with projects from the beginning and understands the importance of excellent communication and good working relationships. She’s been involved with a number of large-scale Impact projects, such as those at Wellington International Airport.
