MPI Laboratory Relocation
Client: Ministry for Primary Industries
When MPI started planning a new laboratory for containing and diagnosing serious veterinary diseases, it called on Impact to help move the existing labs and their staff to a temporary shared space – which they would occupy for two years.
Impact worked closely with all key stakeholders to ensure the safe transfer of specialist equipment, while ensuring that the team at the National Biocontainment Laboratory could respond quickly to suspected cases of diseases, many of which could seriously affect New Zealand’s primary sector and environment.
